The Job
Identify and leverage growth avenues for Powernaut by spearheading focused exploration into the French market.Your focus: prospecting, consultative selling, and strategic partnership building.
- Make the market yours: Analyze market size, competitor landscape, and regulatory trends specific to France.
- Leverage the market: Build expert connections with French regulatory bodies, potential clients, and industry influencers.
- Position for growth: Expand our network through industry events and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to position Powernaut as a thought leader in the region.
- Provide clarity: Execute a dedicated action plan with measurable deliverables and a clear timeline for French market growth.
- Get level and empowered: Collaborate consistently with the global team (CEO, Sales, Marketing, Product) to align on strategy.
Here's what your impactful role will entail:
- Hunting & New Business: Drive new business by identifying C-suite leads via innovative outreach to stakeholders in France, building on marketing leads.
- Pipeline Mastery: Manage the full sales cycle in HubSpot, from prospecting to complex contract negotiation and closure.
- Value Selling: Act as a trusted advisor, moving beyond transactions to diagnose pain points and demonstrate value.
- Strategic Collaborations: Align with Marketing on messaging and Product on market feedback.
Your day-to-day will be dynamic and impactful:
- Proactively prospecting high-potential clients within the French region with marketing support.
- Delivering tailored pitches that resonate with stakeholder needs and inspire action.
- Closing significant deals aligned with Powernaut’s revenue goals.
- Ensuring smooth hand-offs to Customer Success for long-term retention.
- Spotting and capitalising on upselling opportunities.
Your Profile
We're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial spirit who is ready to make a tangible difference.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in B2B SaaS sales or the energy sector. Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment is a massive plus.
- Solution Selling: A strong track record in managing complex sales cycles, negotiation, and closing deals. You know how to sell value, not just features.
- Energy Literacy: A nuanced understanding of the energy landscape (or a demonstrated ability to learn complex technical concepts rapidly) is a requirement.
- Language Skills: You must be proficient in English AND French. Additionally, fluency in Polish, German, Italian or a Scandinavian language is a big plus.
- Team Player: You enjoy working alongside marketing and product teams, understanding that sales is a team sport.
- Cultural Fit: You fit our Powernaut values, powering up our constellation with your passion, customer excellence drive, and team mindset while pushing your own and others’ boundaries.
- Location: Willingness to work from our Ghent HQ minimum once every two months to collaborate with the team, travelling to clients across Europe as required.
